I wasn't sure if a crisp Fall day would be a good day to visit Hakone Gardens. My skepticism proved unwarranted however when I was greeted with the vibrant, golden colors typically associated with this season. Even the fish, dressed in striking orange, black, and white, seemed to welcome me. The sun hid behind scattered, dense clouds, and created the softest light once it peaked through the bamboo trees. It was one of those lovely days when all I could hear was the gentle crunch of gravel underneath my boots, and there is a sweet hush in the air.

Beautiful pics, I love the way the Japanese and other Asian countries prepare and plan there gardens with so much tradition and meaning in everything they plant and build.
How lucky to have such a magical place to escape to!
