chinatown

red thread: amsterdam

i'm so happy i got to visit amsterdam's chinatown.


it was nice to see an architectural style that is very familiar to me, a very welcome sight, indeed.

more familiar sights; sometimes it's the little things that touch you, you know? i even spied my favorite dried mangoes through the window of a little grocery store.

the streets are much quieter than the chinatown in san francisco.

i only wish i could have had more time to explore, but that will have to wait until next time.
